Title:
ASH-IN-INCINERATOR REMOVAL APPARATUS AND METHOD
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2001090927
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an ash-in-incinerator removal apparatus in which in a maintenance work for incinerator ash can be removed without scattering ash and without relying upon human power to the utmost.

A suction duct 8 is disposed for sucking ash 14 into a furnace, and a discharge hole 9 is disposed on an ash reservoir 6 for discharging ash 14. The ash 14 is entrained by air from the suction duct 8 to the discharge hole 9 to remove the ash 14 in the furnace. In the suction duct 8 the ash 14 on a grill or on a wall surface is sucked, and the ash 14 is entrained by air to the discharge hole and is discharged from the discharge hole to the ash reservoir 6. Since a removal work for the ash 14 performed conventionally with a shovel or by a human hand is performed with air entrainment, the ash 14 is prevented from scattering and further the ash 14 can be effectively removed without depending upon human power.
