PURPOSE: To couple together two cylindrical bodies without the production of wrinkle on the cylindrical bodies, by a method wherein, after the two cylindrical bodies mate each other with a heat adhesive agent layer between, the mating part is heated, and simultaneously, a fluid pressure is applied over the total periphery from the inside and the outside of the cylindrical body and through the medium of the elastic film.
CONSTITUTION: In case a second cylindrical body 2 is thermally adhered to an end part of a first cylindrical body 1, the two cylindrical bodies 1 and 2 mate each other by locating a heat adhesive agent layer between the two cylindrical bodies, the other periphery of the mating part is surrounded with a chabmer 6 having a toroidal heat resistant elastic film 6a with an inner diamter which is slightly larger than the outer diameter of the first cylindrical body 1, and fluid is poured with pressure into the chamber 6 as a high frequency is applied to a high-frequency induction heating coil 8 located on the periphery of the mating part and in the proximity of the elastic film 6a in the chamber.
