Abstract:
To obtain a method for imaging an function liquid drop ejection head at a plurality of specified measuring points using a plurality of imaging means and correcting the position of the function liquid drop ejection head to match a reference position wherein a positional shift of the function liquid drop ejection head from the reference position can be determined accurately even if relative position of the plurality of imaging means is shifted.
An actual relative position vector Vs of a plurality of imaging means is determined from the image position of a reference mark imaged at the facing position of each imaging means. A relative positional shift ΔV of the plurality of imaging means is determined from the Vs and a reference relative position vector Vo. Positional shift of the function liquid drop ejection head from the reference position is determined from the image position at a plurality of measuring points of the function liquid drop ejection head imaged by the plurality of imaging means while taking account of the shift ΔV.
