PURPOSE: To provide an assembling method for transmission mechanism of a vehicle capable of easily assembling a plurality of transmission shafts, their accompanying gears and bearings, and gear shift rails to a transmission case.
CONSTITUTION: In a vehicle having a center case 3 having openings on longitudinal ends, which is interposed between a clutch housing 1 and a transmission case 2, plural sets of mounting seats or bulkheads for installing a plurality of support plates are protruded on the inner circumference of the center case 3 at longitudinal intervals, a transmission mechanism such as a transmission shaft and its accompanying gear and bearing and a plurality of gear shift rails longer than the transmission shaft are assembled to the support plate on the end part side, and the top end of the gear shift rail is then fitted in advance to the hole of the support plate or bulkhead on the deep side in this state. The gear shift rail is pushed with this as a guide, and the transmission shaft or the bearing installed on its top end part is successively inserted to the other hole of the support plate or bulkhead, whereby the transmission mechanism is assembled to the center case.
