Abstract:
To reduce or eliminate wear on a part engaged for tightening to improve tightening efficiency, in an assembly including a tightener and a band.
The tightener 15 includes: a base 33; a driving lever 43; and a ratchet 40. For a tooth 29 of a series of serrations 27 of the band 14, at least one straight line d1, d2 tangent to a meshing surface 30 of the tooth 29 and parallel to the band 14, forms, together with the longitudinal direction L14 of the band 14, an angle α1, α2 that is less than 90 degrees. A driving end 45 of the lever 43 is configured to cooperate with the serrations 27 of the band 14. A retaining zone 42 of the ratchet 40 is configured to cooperate with the serrations 27 of the band 14.
