Abstract:
PURPOSE: To easily provide a liquid crystal/polymer composite film having responsibility for electric fields and heat which can be used for display and recording of information.
CONSTITUTION: This liquid crystal/polymer composite film features in that the liquid crystal exists as independent particles in an ionizing radiation-curing resin matrix. This composite film is produced by dispersing the liquid crystal in ionizing radiationcuring monomers, oligomers, polymers or mixture of two or more of these with using a compd. having surface active function and then irradiating the dispersion with ionizing radiation.
