To provide an assist grip for an occupant on a seat arranged extending to a direction approximately orthogonal to a rear wall surface of a car body and easy to grip for supporting a body of the occupant at the time of sitting down/standing up and during travelling without interfering a driver's rear view from a rear window provided on the rear wall surface.
The assist grip comprises a first grip part 25 with its center part composed of a horizontal part 29 nearly horizontally extending along the rear wall surface 7 to have a clearance between the wall surface 7 and itself and with its both end parts composed of bending parts 31 for bending downward continuing to the horizontal part 29 so as to adhere the tip part to the rear wall surface 7 and a second grip part 27 having a vertical part 33 with one end adhered to the center part of the horizontal part 29 of the first grip part 25 nearly orthogonally to the horizontal part 29 and extending upward along the wall surface 7 to have a clearance between the wall surface 7 and itself and with the other end adhered to the wall surface.
