SOLUTION: This assisting device for braiding installed in a braider 6 for braiding the reinforcing fiber 3 on a mandrel 2 for a high pressure gas cylinder, etc., is a fiber-pushing means 4 for assisting the tightening of a reinforcing fiber 3 on being build by pushing the fiber in the vicinity of the building point to the surface of the mandrel.
