To provide a technology for smoothly performing the transition and release to and from the assisting state of a mobile robot using a lifter.
In lifting and assisting a humanoid robot 101 using a lifter, a hoist rope 121 having a hollow structure is provided, and a power supply wire for charging a battery and electric wires such as a signal wire for making various operation tests and adjustment for the robot 101 are stored in the hollow interior. A connecting mechanism for simultaneously making the connection for hanging the humanoid robot 101 and the connection for the above electric wires is disposed at the tip of the hoist rope 121. The connecting mechanism is connected to the humanoid robot 101, whereby the hanging work and the connecting work of electric wires of the humanoid robot 101 can be performed at the same time.
