To enable easy appreciation of an assorted cake to be taken by combining at least two kinds of cake materials such as a Kuzumochi (a pudding-like arrowroot-starch cake) to be taken by scattering soybean flour of the cake.

A top-opened material-holding vessel 2 is divided into a top- opened upper chamber 4 and a nearly closed lower chamber 6 with a partition member 8 extractable from outside. A Kuzumochi 42 is held in the upper chamber 4 in a state closely contacting with the bottom wall (partition member 8) and the side walls of the upper chamber 4. Soybean flour 40 to be scattered on the Kuzumochi 42 is held in the lower chamber 6 together with a prescribed amount of air, the holding vessel 2 is placed in a top-opened outer vessel 10 and the upper opening of the outer vessel 10 is sealed with a sealing member 48. The Kuzumochi is easily eatable by removing the sealing member 48, turning the material-holding vessel 2 upside-down, placing the vessel in the outer vessel 10 and extracting the partition member 8. The Kuzumochi 42 in the upper chamber 4 is readily slipped down by the presence of the air in the lower chamber [3 and the soybean flour 40 in the lower chamber 6 is scattered on the fallen Kuzumochi 42.
