Title:
ASYMMETRIC REACTION WHEREIN OPTICALLY ACTIVE PROLINE DERIVATIVE IS USED AS ORGANIC MOLECULAR CATALYST
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2010248093
Kind Code:
A
Abstract:

To provide an asymmetric reaction wherein an optically active proline derivative is used as a catalyst, an optically active proline derivative, and an organic molecular catalyst including the derivative.

There are disclosed an asymmetric reaction wherein an amide derivative(A) or an ester derivative (B) of optically active proline is used as an organic molecular catalyst, and the optically active proline derivatives [in the formulae, R1 and R2 each represent a hydrogen atom (provided that both are not hydrogen atoms) or a 4-18C alkyl group, a 4-18C cycloalkyl group or a 4-18C aral group each substituted with a nitrogen-containing or an oxygen-containing functional group that may contain an asymmetric carbon, provided that R1 and R2 may form a ring; R3 represents an alcohol containing a source of asymmetry; and * represents an asymmetric carbon atom].
