Abstract:
To provide an ATM processor which inexpensively collects traffic information on a packet level without introducing a device such as an ATM router.
This processor has line interfacing parts 11 to 1n which perform processing of asynchronous transfer mode(ATM) cells that are connected to lines. The line interfacing parts are separately provided with an ALL statistical information collecting part 2 which performs fetches cell flow between a physical line terminating part 3 and an ATM processing part 4 and performs statistical information collection of an ALL level in addition to the parts 3 and 4.
