To provide an attaching structure for a wood plate to a metal pillar body which can cover a metal part and display a woody outside appearance.
In an attaching structure where a plurality of wood plates 7 is attached to the periphery of a metal pillar body 6, the pillar body 6 is formed in a cylindrical form having a polygonal section, and each corner part of the pillar body 6 is longitudinally provided with a locking projecting stripe 8, and the wood plates are arranged so as to be adjacent at least in the corner part of the pillar body and slided from the end of the pillar body to the inside of the adjacent locking projecting stripe 8 to be locked. The ends on a surface side of the adjacent wood plates 7 are mutually engaged and attached so that the locking projecting stripe 8 may be hidden from the outside.
