To easily attach/detach an inexpensive yarn mop for replacement to/from an attaching utensil.
This attaching utensil comprises a cover 1 and a supporting bar 11 to which a yarn mop 23 is attached, and a box-shape cover main body 2 has an attaching part 7 which is attached to a pinching claw at the tip end of a handle, on the upper surface, an upper surface opening 4 at both ends of the upper surface, and an engaging claw 6 under the opening 4. The supporting bar has a spring part 13 at both ends of a base part 12, and a stopper 14 which erects from the spring part. For the stopper, a gap of the stopper is formed to be smaller than the gap of the engaging claw so that the stopper may be engaged with the engaging claw when the supporting bar is pushed into the main body, and the stopper may be opened when being widened and depressed. Thus, the yarn mop can be attached/detached to/from the attaching utensil by simply pushing in the supporting bar to which the yarn mop is attached, or widening and depressing the stopper.
