In an attention calling apparatus 1 for calling attention to the periphery by emitting light or sounding an alarm, the attention calling apparatus is provided with: a main body part 2 with a power source incorporated therein; a light emitting part 3 mounted on the main body part 2; an alarm sounding part 4 mounted on the main body part 2; a switch 5 provided to be operable from an outer surface of the main body part 2 for controlling operations of the light emitting part 3 and the alarm sounding part 4; and a mounting means 6 for attaching/detaching the main body part 2 to/from the target just by itself. Thus, the attention calling apparatus 1 is attached/detached to/from the target.
