Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an audio device capable of making a music signal at an observation point coincide with a target signal.
SOLUTION: A prescribed transfer characteristic is set by deciding coefficients of filter means 25, 26 based on the layout of front loudspeakers 33, 34. Audio signals SL, SR are inputted to the filter means through band-pass filters 21, 22, and the target signals d(n)L, d(n)R are outputted with the transfer characteristic convoluted in the audio signals. An adaptive signal processing devices 43-46 receive error signals e1, e2 which are the difference between the target signals and the music signals at the observation point and the audio signals SL, SR, and performs an adaptive signal processing so that the powers of the error signals becomes minimal. Thus, when the filter coefficient (a transfer characteristic targeted) is decided based on the layout of the front loudspeakers 33, 34 and the observation point, correction outside the processing band can easily be done and an excellent desired sound can be listened to at the observation point.
