To provide an authentication device, a method for authentication, an authentication system, and a program that can reduce the work load when a user gets a service and can receive a service stably.SOLUTION: The authentication device generates a biological key by a one-direction function predetermined from biological information of a user when a first condition is established. The authentication device acquires a public key from an information processor, generates a common key on the basis of the biological key, random information, and the public key, and generates specific information to confirm the correctness of a user. After that, the authentication device instructs the information processor to confirm the correctness of the user by the specific information, and updates the specific information when a second condition, which is different from the first condition, is established.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 14
