Abstract:

To increase convenience of an authentication system.SOLUTION: A mobile device 11 can be carried by a person 20. An acceleration sensor is mounted on the mobile device 11 and outputs an acceleration signal corresponding to the acceleration applied to the mobile device 11. A control unit 12 controls the operation of an engine 311 based on authentication processing of authenticating the mobile device 11. A processor 13 executes determination processing of determining if the person 20 is walking and outputs a result of the determination to the control unit 12. When the person 20 is determined to be walking through the determination processing, the control of the engine 311 by the control unit 12 is disabled. Before the person 20 is determined to be walking through the determination processing, the operation of an ignition power supply 312 is enabled.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
