In this system which is configured of a server for storing biometrics data and a client connected through a network to the server, the client includes a data reading means for biometrics, and configured to transfer the biometrics data input from a biometrics data input means to the biometrics server, and to perform 1:N authentication with the biometrics data transmitted from the client, and to transmit the results to the client, and the server stores identification ID to uniquely specify the biometrics data by address pool units from the IP address of the client when determined that the received biometrics data is the same as those of a principal once, and quickens the following authentication by performing 1:N authentication with the biometrics data from the identification ID stored by the address pool units.
