Abstract:
To shorten a drying period by improving drying performance.SOLUTION: A high pressure steam sterilization device A comprises: a sterilization tank 1 storing therein an object to be sterilized; drive gas supply means 2 generating a drive gas and supplying the drive gas to the sterilization tank 1; an ejector 3 sucking the gas in the sterilization tank 1 and discharging the sucked gas to outside, thereby reducing pressure in the sterilization tank 1; steam generation means 4 generating steam in the sterilization tank 1; and control means 6 sequentially performing at least, a sterilization step of steam sterilizing the object to be sterilized in the sterilization tank 1, and a discharge step of discharging steam and residual water in the sterilization tank 1. The control means 6 executes a drying step which repeats pressure reduction in the sterilization tank 1 by the ejector 3, and supply of the drive gas to the sterilization tank 1 by the drive gas supply means 2, to thereby dry the object to be sterilized.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
