Abstract:
PURPOSE: To obtain an autoloader which can be installed on an armed vehicle without requiring a large space and in which loading to a gun is performed without requiring any manpower.
CONSTITUTION: A guide track 46 having an arcuate guide section is provided to set an orientation along with gun barrel. The arcuate guide section has a radius of curvature center on the gun elevation axis determining gun barrel angle. A trolley 44 is guided along the guide track 46 from a lower magazine position to an upper gun loading position. The trolley 44 is combined with a ram 48 which extracts a shell 50 from the magazine when the trolley 44 is in the magazine position and restricts movement of the shell 50 when the trolley 44 moves. The ram 48 is operated at a barrel loading position and the shell 50 is packed to the gun breech.
