Abstract:
To provide an automated document feeding device that allows disabled people confined to a wheelchair and users with short heights to stack documents easily and accurately without deteriorating the operability of able-bodied people.
Documents stacked on a document tray 3 are separated from each other and fed to an image reading device by a document separator 5, a document cassette 7 storing documents is attached to the tray 3 detachably, and the documents stored within the cassette 7 are fed to the image reading device by the separator 5 with the cassette 7 attached to the tray 3.
