To obtain an automated inspection machine whose measuring efficiency and accuracy can be enhanced, by a method wherein a wiring diagram for a mounting implement is inputted, a test head is moved, a circuit is electrified so as to be measured automatically, all points are scanned simultaneously with its measurement and a new wiring diagram and a new automatic orientation material are outputted.

A mounting implement 4 is installed on the base of a three-axis motion mechanism 3. A wiring diagram and an automatic orientation material are inputted to a control interface so as to be sent to the mounting implement 4, and they are returned to the control interface from its measuring point so as to be grasped. The material in sent to a three-axis step motor controller, and the three-axis motion mechanism 3 is driven. The coordinates of the mounting implement 4 are decided. The height, the zero position and the angle of a probe 341 at a test head 34 are oriented. The test head 34 is moved onto the mounting implement 4 by the three-axis motion mechanism 3. The probe 341 is lowered so as to come into contact with the measuring point of the mounting implement 4. As a result, the inspection operation of the mounting implement 4 can be performed. In addition, all points are scanned by a decoder simultaneously with a measurement, and a wiring diagram and an automatic orientation material which are new and precise can be created.
