Abstract:
To improve reading accuracy of a bar code.SOLUTION: An automatic analyzer relating to an embodiment of the present invention comprises a bar code reader and a cylindrical lens. The bar code reader reads out a bar code based on a catoptric light obtained by radiating light toward the bar code that is attached onto at least one of a specimen container for accommodating a test sample, a reagent container for accommodating a reagent to react with the test sample, and a specimen rack for accommodating a plurality of specimen containers arranged in a row. The cylindrical lens is arranged between the bar code reader and at least one of the specimen container, the reagent container, and the specimen rack.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 4
