Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To attain high speed retrieval of a message by registering label infor mation for each message in addition to the message and using the label informa tion as a retrieval key. SOLUTION: Information to be registered in an external storage device (voice storage section in an automatic answering telephone center) after connection of a caller to an automatic answering telephone center 3 via a exchange 1 consists of a registration number (in the time sequence starting with the earliest registered data and time), presence or absence of a mark (presence or absence of message reproduction), label information and a message 4. When a contractor reproduction request is received, a menu guidance to select the reproduction of the label information or the reproduction of the message is transmitted. In the case of reproducing the label information, the registration number and the label information are repetitively reproduced in sequence of time. In the case of reproducing the message, stored information 4 is used as a retrieval key to attain high speed retrieval. In the case of reproducing all reproduction messages, all the messages that are registered are reproduced in sequence of time.
