Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automated checkout system which achieves both settlement management inside a specific facility by using a storage medium and improvement in convenience of an owner.SOLUTION: An automated checkout system 1 has a server 10 communicable with a storage medium 20 with a settlement function and a room entry/exit function which is used at a purchase site 120 in a specific facility 100. The server 10 has: control means 2 for generating check-in/check-out information by confirming at least either an entry into a room, an exit from the room, an entry into the facility or an exit from the facility based on the room entry/exit function of the storage medium 20; settlement processing means 3 for generating settlement information by performing settlement processing at the purchase site 120 in the specific facility 100 based on the settlement function of the storage medium 20; detection means 3 for detecting an identifier identifying a registrant registered in the storage medium 20; and linkage means 5 for linking the room entry/exit information and the settlement information. The linkage means 5 performs charge settlement of the registrant by calculating a difference between the room entry/exit information and the settlement information or aggregating them in charge processing for a certain period of the registrant.
