PURPOSE: To provide an automatic beverage vending machine capable of being easily produced at low cost and preparing and distributing different hot or cold beverage.

CONSTITUTION: This machine includes plural beverage powder stock containers 7 respectively provided with a supply worm 6. A transmission unit 26 assigned to each stock container starts an electromagnet 21 to operate the supply worm of the selected beverage powder stock container to be selectively connected with a common motor 11 through the transmission unit. Only one single driving motor is necessitated for selectively operating all the driving worms of the stock containers like this. Thereby, the supply worm is intermittently and easily operated so as to improve the total quality of the beverage to be prepared.
