Abstract:
PURPOSE:To perform the restoration of a xapsized boat to its original position automatically, by forming a bilge collecting part via a partition plate of an engine room bottom part of the bows, and storing bilge water therein, while assisting a couple of force in a restoring direction by means of the center of gravity and buoyance in time of capsizing. CONSTITUTION:An engine room cover 3 is set up on the top of the bows 2 of a small gliding boat of a jet-propelled water ski or the like, and an engine room 4 is set down to a buoyancy body. Each of partition plates 5 and 5 is attached to a bottom part of the engine room 4 from side plates at both sides, forming a bilge collecting part 7. In time of a boat being capsized, a couple of force in a restoring direction owing to hull weight acting on the center of gravity and buoyancy acting on a floating center V is assisted whereby the restoration of a capsized boat to its original position is automatically carried out.
