To provide an automatic channel selection system capable of automatically switching to a channel broadcasting a program fitted to an attribute of a viewer who views digital broadcasting.

The automatic channel selection system includes: an authentication server acquiring part or the whole of attribute information corresponding to an ID of a viewer from a registrant attribute database server storing the attribute information and the ID of the viewer using an image receiver by relating them to each other by receiving the ID previously stored in the image receiver of digital broadcasting from the image receiver; a tuner control server determining which channel among the respective channels broadcasting in a broadcast station satisfies the condition of the attribute information by using the part or the whole of the attribute information acquired by the authentication server, and transmitting information of the channel at least satisfying it based on the determination result thereof to the image receiver. In the channel automatic selection system, the image receiver switches to the channel based on the information of the channel received from the tuner control server.
