Abstract:
To provide an automatic washing device which can automatically wash a surface of a rotary drum such as an impression cylinder of a flexographic press.SOLUTION: An automatic washing device (1) which washes a surface of a drum (2) is composed of a washing mechanism (4) and a washing liquid supply mechanism (5). When a washing cloth (6) is pressed onto the surface of the drum (2) by a pressing pad (9), a washing liquid is supplied from the washing liquid supply mechanism (5), and a pool (18) of the washing liquid is formed on an upstream side of the pressing pad (9). When the washing cloth is pressed onto the surface of the drum (2) by the pressing pad (9), the washing cloth wipes the drum in the state that the pool (18) of the washing liquid is disappeared, thereby washing the surface of the drum.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 1
