Title:
AUTOMATIC CLEARANCE ADJUSTMENT COLLOID MILL
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP3171624
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a device to adjust the gap between the mills of a colloid mill automatically.
CONSTITUTION: A colloid mill is so designed as to adjust the gap between mills by moving a lower rotary grind stone 4 vertically against a top fixed position 2. The lower rotary grind stone 4 is stopped in its ascent motion at a position where the current value 1 of a rotation drive motor 10 for the lower rotary grind stone, which is detected by a current detector 24, reaches a previously set current value 10, after the ascending movement of the lower rotary grind stone 4 at a fixed-interval of time using a vertical drive motor 20. Then the lower rotary grind stone 4 is allowed to descend at every specified space from the position where said previously set current value 10 is reached as a home position. These sequential steps are achieved by a mill gap adjustment means and this means is provided on an automatic clearance adjustment colloid mill.
