Abstract:

PURPOSE:To enable creep operation with an arrangement that a wet clutch slidingly meets when a creep mode switch is tuned on. CONSTITUTION:A creep mode switch 10 and a creep amount adjust switch 11 are disposed adjacent to an accelerator pedal 7A. When the creep mode switch 10 is turned on, an electromagnetic valve 5 supplies air in response to a command from a control circuit 4 for causing an actuator 6 to operate. At this time, a clutch disk slidingly contacts a flywheel of an engine 1 so that slight torque is transmitted to an input shaft. Then a vehicle runs at a very low speed when a brake is released. Adjustment of a creep amount adjust switch 11 causes the amount of creep to change for adjusting the speed. When such a creep mode operation is continued, a clutch unit 2 is cooled by forcible lubrication for preventing heating.
