Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To precisely connect a packaging film without generating a positional slipping of a register mark by a method wherein the connection of a film is performed by reducing the film feeding speed at a film connecting part by a differential pulley mechanism, without changing the film feeding speed by a film letting off mechanism of a packaging machine.
SOLUTION: When a film (fa) being fed, and a film (fb) which stands by are connected by a film connecting device, the clutch of an electromagnetic clutch brake is turned on when a sensor 151 detects a first register mark, and a slide plate 112 is moved to the right, and at the same time, the braking force of the brake means on a holder shaft 4a side is increased. By doing so, a specified tension is imparted to the film (fa) to pull it out. Then, a differential pulley mechanism 90 is operated, and by the turning of a slide driving roller 138 from (p1) to (p2), the speed of the film is reduced, and while movable pulleys 108, 109 move in the specified speed reduced areas (a'), (b'), the films (fa), (fb) are connected by the operations of pressing rollers 31a, 31b.
