To provide a highly efficient casting system containing a casting apparatus by unidirectional solidification of metal and to continuously forge the molding cast by the system as it is.
In the automatic continuous casting system, molten metal in a melting furnace 2 is supplied into a molten metal receiving vessel 4 in the casting apparatus 6 by the unidirectional solidification of metal and composed of the molten metal receiving vessel 4 and a mold 5 through a transporting trough 3 and the molten metal in the molten metal receiving vessel 4 is supplied into the mold 5 through an opening/closing plug 43 to produce a cast block 7. The system is characteristically provided with a target weight calculation storing means 8, in which a specific gravity of an alloy is obtained from the composition ratio of the molten metal and a target weight of the ingot 7 is obtained from the specific gravity of this alloy and the volume of the mold 5 and also, this target weight is memorized and stored, and a first molten metal supplying quantity control means 9, in which the measured weight of the ingot 7 is obtained and compared with the target weight and the supplying quantity of the molten metal into the mold 5 from the molten metal receiving vessel 4 is controlled.
