PURPOSE: To manufacture a building model in a short time with high efficiency and high precision at a low cost by providing a cutting plotter which clips a part development figure from a sheet and effects grooving along a fold line according to the program command of a computer.

CONSTITUTION: Data corresponding to the part development figure of a building is inputted to a computer 4 by means of a digitizer 1. The part development figure is displayed by a display device 2, and after it is confirmed that the development figure is correct, the part development figure is printed on a sheet 5. From the printed sheet 5, clipping of the part development figure, grooving along a fold line, and pasting on a paste margin are effected by means of a cutting plotter 3. Without effecting printing of the part development figure on the sheet 5, the part development figure may be clipped immediately by the cutting plotter 3 after it is confirmed that the part development figure displayed on the display device 2 is correct.
