Abstract:
PURPOSE:To enable a depth to be automatically kept under water with a rudder angle of zero by simultaneously outputting a water charging and discharging command to ballast tanks, a command for transferring water among trimming tanks, and a rudder angle command for keeping the depth so that a depth deviation and an attitude angle deviation can be corrected. CONSTITUTION:A depth deviation 3 between a set depth 1 set by an operator and an actual depth 2 and an attitude angle 4 of a submarine are entered into an automatic depth keeping device 5. The automatic depth keeping device 5 issues a water charging and discharging command 8 to ballast tanks 12 and a command 9 for transferring water among trimming tanks 13 to perform a rough zero adjustment with respect to a non-equilibrium force and a nonbalancing moment which effect to a submarine to cause a depth deviation constantly and issues a rudder angle commands 6, 7 to perform a fine zero adjustment with respect to the non-equilibrium force and nonbalancing moment. Thus, the automatic depth keeping device 5 enables a depth to be automatically kept under water with a rudder angle of zero.
