Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic opening/closing device for wind shield which can open/close a wind shield such as the windbreak fence, etc. by utilizing the energy of a strong wind as a direct power source, does not sway, but can be maintained stably in both opened and close attitudes, is less in fault, and can be maintained and serviced easily.
SOLUTION: A wind shield 2 is openably/closably journaled by a part upper than the center between its upper and lower ends so that a wind pressure may act to close the shield 2 in a forwardly tilted state and a balance weight 11 and an adjustment weight are installed to the upper end of the shield 2. In addition, an opening stopper 3 which receives the shield 2 in a state where the shied 2 is slightly inclined forward from the horizontal position and a closing stopper 5 which receives the shield 2 in a nearly vertical state are provided and positioned to the rear side of the rotating shaft 9 of the shield 2 so that the balance weight 11 may act to open the shield 2 in a backwardly turned state when the shield 2 is closed.
