PURPOSE: To realize the automatic dialer also-having a function printing out a mark simply and surely with convenience of use by converting simply a telephone number or a facsimile number to an identification mark possible for automatic dialing in the dialer reading the identification mark and implementing automatic dialing in response to the mark.

CONSTITUTION: The automatic dialer is featured to be provided with an optical read section 7 reading optically a telephone number or a facsimile number described in an optical identification mark, a dial tone generating section 4 converting the read data and generating a relating dial tone string, a dial tone reception section 5 receiving a dialing tone string generated by dialing or pushbutton operation of a telephone set 2 or a facsimile equipment or the like and an identification mark print section converting the received tone string and printing out the optical identification mark corresponding to the sound string onto a recording medium.
