Abstract:
PURPOSE: To facilitate removal of a jammed document, facilitate separating roller replacing operation, avoid a damage to the document, avoid a breakage of electric wires, make a feeder more compact, and facilitate replacing operation of an endless belt of a conveyor belt mechanism, in an automatic document feeder applied to an image processing machine such as an electrostatic copying machine.
CONSTITUTION: There are provided an opening/closing frame body 36 and a revolving frame body installed in a main frame body 10. When the opening/ closing frame body 36 is set in an opening position, a document sending-in passage is opened at least partially. A sending-in roller 54, a push-pressing member 88, a supply roller 56, a separating roller 128 and plural number of document detectors 70 are provided in the document sending-in passage. A conveyor belt mechanism is installed in the revolving frame body. There are provided plural number of electric wires extending from the opening/closing frame body 36 through an opening formed in a side plate of the main frame body 10.
