Abstract:
To provide an automatic door unit and a fitting equipped therewith, which can easily add an automatic opening function to an existing door body.SOLUTION: An automatic door unit 20 installed on a fitting 1 has: a remote control key 6 as a transmitter capable of transmitting an opening signal as opening information indicating that a door body 10 is to be opened; an electric thumb-turn 2 as a lock driving device installed on an indoor side of the door body 10 and switching a thumb-turn 141 as a lock operating unit from a locked position to an unlocked position upon receiving the opening information; an electric opener 3 as a door body driving device for moving the door body 10 from a closed position to an open position upon receiving the opening information; and latch release devices 4, 4a for releasing a retention of the door body 10 by a latch mechanism 11.SELECTED DRAWING: Figure 2
