PURPOSE: To make pieced up sections inconspicuous by arranging a pair of ending units in front of a winder for doubling a pair of single yarns from a pair of spinning pots and for winding the doubled yarn round a package and carrying out ending between the pair of single yarns.

CONSTITUTION: Single yarns (Ya) and (Yb) from a pair of spinning pots 3a and 3b are doubled by a doubling guide 14, false twisted by a false twisting nozzle 16 and wound through ending units 24a and 24b round a package 20. The pair of ending units are arranged back and forth leaving a space in the yarn-traveling direction and, in case of end breakage, the pair of single yarns are pieced between the end part of the winder side yarn and the lower yarn.
