Abstract:
PURPOSE: To allow positive decision of abnormality in the attitude or profile of an electronic parts sucked by a suction nozzle.
CONSTITUTION: An index motor 35 is rotated at a speed corresponding to the attitude detecting cycle time of a parts data stored stored in a RAM 32 and a chip parts 5 sucked by a suction nozzle 14 is moved to a position for shading a line sensor. In case of a large parts, the index motor 35 rotates at low speed and the lower end position of the parts is detected at a predetermined interval or shorter and the abnormality in the attitude or the profile of the parts 5 is decided based on the lower end position.
