Title:
AUTOMATIC ENSEMBLE DEVICE
Document Type and Number:
Japanese Patent JP2694935
Kind Code:
B2
Abstract:

PURPOSE: To easily time the sounding of a 1st automatic musical instrument such as an automatic piano which requires a certain time to sound from the input of performance information and a 2nd automatic musical instrument such as a synthesizer which sounds after the input of the performance information to each other when an ensemble is played on both the musical instruments by a simple constitution.
CONSTITUTION: When the musical performance information in a storage device 100 is supplied to the 1st automatic musical instrument 101 by a 1st read means 103, the 1st automatic musical instrument 101 sounds on the basis of the performance information. Similarly, when this performance information is read out by a 2nd read means 104 and supplied to the 2nd automatic musical instrument 102, the 2nd automatic musical instrument 102 also sounds on the basis of the performance information. A timing setting means 105 controls the 1st and 2nd read means 103 and 104 so that the supply of the performance information to the 2nd automatic musical instrument 102 is delayed by as long as the time for which the sounding of the 1st automatic musical instrument 101 is delayed behind the sounding of the 2nd musical instrument. The sounding of the 1st automatic musical instrument 101 is timed to that of the 2nd automatic musical instrument 102 and the ensemble is accurately played.
