PURPOSE: To reduce a setup space as well as to increase the extent of storage by installing a vertical article enclosure part in an underground space in and around an article delivery equipment part, in case of the above-captioned equipment for an automatic vending machine or the like.

CONSTITUTION: A vertical underground hole 31 is excavated to the required depth from the ground surface, while a bottomed cylindrical body 32 is inserted into this under-ground hole 31 as being projected as far as the specified height over the ground surface, and concrete 33 is placed between the underground hole 31 and the bottomed cylindrical body 32. And, plural ring floor plates 34 are installed in the bottomed cylindrical body 31 at the specified intervals, and each of these ring floor plate 34 is partitioned off in the circumferential direction by each partition wall 35, thereby forming each housing chamber 36. A support block 37 is installed in an upper end of the bottomed cylindrical body 32 and a motor-driven wire drum 38 is set up there, setting it down to a lifting gear for a gondola 43. With this constitution, a setup space is reduced and the amount of storage is thus increasable.
