To provide an automatic filling and packaging machine each of divisions of which can be independently started and executed, and the adjustment of which can be made easily without wastefulness.
The automatic filling and packaging machine 1 comprises a carrying device 3 which carries a belt-like film 10 in a specified route of supply, an opening tape attaching device 4 which attaches opening tapes 11 to specified positions of the belt-like film 10, a packaging material forming device 5 which forms a tubular packaging material 20 by folding down and sealing up both edges of the belt-like film 10, a filling device 6 which fills the packaging material 20 with contents, a squeezing device 7 which makes squeezing at a specified position of the filled packaging material 20 and forms parts wherefrom the contents are excluded, and a sealing and cutting device 8 which makes sealing-up at parts wherefrom the contents are excluded and makes cutting at positions close to each of the excluded parts of the packaging material. Driving sources are provided respectively for each of the opening tape attaching device 4, the squeezing device 7 and the sealing and cutting device 8. The individual driving sources are synchronously controlled by a control device 9 for making each of the operating divisions work.
