Abstract:

PURPOSE: To provide a hopper seal for a developing device which prevents the excessive amount of toner from being directly supplied to a developing roller from a hopper side after peeling the seal which partitions between the hopper and the developing device to prevent the inflow of the toner in a process cartridge obtained by combining and integrating the developing device including a toner hopper and a peripheral unit such as an electrostatic charger.
CONSTITUTION: As for the process cartridge at least provided with the developing device including the toner hopper 15, the developing roller 10 and the hopper seal 20 sealing the replenishing port 17 of the toner hopper and which can be attached to/detached from an image forming device main body, the seal is provided with a seal main body 25 which is peelably stuck and seals the replenishing port 17, and residual seal parts 22 and 23 which are stuck to the seal main body 25, seal both ends, in the longitudinal direction of the replenishing port 17 or only the lower edge of the replenishing port and remain at the replenishing port 17 after the seal main body 25 is peeled.
