Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an automatic fire extinguishing device callable of efficiently extinguishing a fire by throwing the fire extinguishing device down from a helicopter.SOLUTION: An automatic fire extinguishing device includes: a fire extinguisher 1 having an on-off valve and a jetting port 13 in a tip part of a cylinder 11, and jetting a fire extinguishing agent by pressing the on-off valve; a press actuator 2 slidably provided with a weight in a state that an air mat 24 for a spacer is interposed on the tip side of the on-off valve, and always pressing the weight to the cylinder side by a spring; and a fuse 3 having one end connected to a desired portion of the air mat. When a combustion position of the fuse has reached a connection portion with the air mat, air inside the air mat is pressed to the outside. The fire extinguisher is rotatably suspended and disposed inside a basket-like storage part in which a jetting passage of the fire extinguishing agent is opened. A parachute is attached to a top part side of the storage part, and the automatic fire extinguishing device is thrown down to a fire spot from a helicopter.
