To overcome the problem found in the prior art automatic transmission automobile (AT car) that a mistake is made in treading a break pedal and an accelerator pedal by a driver to cause a car accident to be easily occurred.

A foot rest including a weight applying sensor is fixed to the AT car, a position of a left foot is restricted to an upper position of the foot rest and a pedal operation is carried out only with a right foot. Under a state that the left foot is not present on the foot rest, i.e. the sensor does not detect any applied weight, all the operations of each of starting, breaking and acceleration cannot be carried out. With this operation above, the pedal operation is positively limited to the right foot to enable an occurrence of an accident caused by a wrong treading at the pedal to be prevented. With this arrangement as above, likewise as a MT car, it is possible to attain that the pedal operation is positively limited to the right foot and the occurrence of the accident caused by the wrong treading of the pedal can be prevented.
