Abstract:
PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To efficiently and easily select hardware equipment corresponding to the specifications of respective constituent equipments that a computer system requests and generate its equipment constitution table and constitution diagram.
SOLUTION: When the machine kind and its performance that the computer system requests are inputted to an input part 3, an equipment retrieval part 4 retrieves the name of an equipment which satisfies the requested performance and its performance from an equipment performance data part 1 where machine kinds, equipment names, and their performance are stored by the equipment names and supplies them to a tabulation part 5, which generates the hardware constitution table. Further, a rough sketch retrieval part 6 retrieves corresponding rough sketch data from an equipment rough sketch data part 2 stored with rough sketch data by the equipment names according to the equipment information from the equipment retrieval part 4 and supplies it to a plotting part 7 to generate the hardware constitution table.
