To provide an automatic generation method of a database trace filter that can reduce the acquisition of unnecessary trace information.
The automatic generation method of a database trace filter includes a first step of acquiring error codes from files with an error specified by a system administrator, a second step of storing a filter condition correspondence table associating an error code uniquely identifying the error and use counts of filter conditions of traces, a third step of searching the filter condition correspondence table on the error code to present a user with optimum filter conditions, a fourth step of acquiring a filter condition specified by the user for acquiring traces, a fifth step of acquiring traces according to the specified filter condition, a sixth step of acquiring a filter condition specified by the user for analyzing the acquired traces, and a seventh step of reflecting the filter conditions acquired in the fifth and sixth steps in the use counts of the filter condition correspondence table.
